  • medium carrots sliced
  • 14.5 oz chicken broth ready-to-serve canned
  • 0.3 cup parsley fresh chopped
  • medium onion chopped
  • medium parsnips sliced
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • lb andouille smoked sliced
  • teaspoons sugar 
  • large sweet potatoes and into peeled cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 0.5 teaspoon thyme leaves dried
