Ingredients

  • ounce water chestnuts drained canned
  • tablespoon parsley fresh chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground ginger 
  • tablespoon soya sauce low-sodium
  • cup snow pea pods fresh
  • tablespoons rice wine vinegar

Directions

  1. Combine vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic powder in a jar; cover tightly, and shake vigorously.
  2. Wash snow peas; remove ends. Arrange snow peas in a vegetable steamer over boiling water. Cover and steam 3 minutes; drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. Combine snow peas, water chestnuts, and parsley in a small bowl.
  4. Pour vinegar mixture over snow pea mixture; toss gently.
  5. Garnish with green onion fans, if desired.
