  • 0.3 cup apple cider vinegar 
  • 12 slices hickory-smoked bacon finely chopped
  • 96 oz chicken broth 
  • lb collard greens fresh washed and trimmed
  •  garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 0.8 teaspoon pepper 
  • teaspoon salt 
  • 0.8 pound ham smoked chopped
  • tablespoon sugar 
  • medium size onions sweet finely chopped

  2. Add onion, and saut 8 minutes; add ham and garlic, and saut 1 minute. Stir in broth and remaining ingredients. Cook 2 hours or to desired degree of tenderness.
