  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper 
  • 100 chickpeas cooked
  • 0.5 tsp chilli powder 
  • tsp ground cumin 
  • 0.5  juice of lemon 
  • tbsp olive oil 
  • serving grinding of pepper black good
  • serving grinding of salt good
  • 100 spicy tofu firm
  • tsp turmeric 
  • dash worcestershire sauce -optional (veggie)

Directions

  1. Blend all the ingredients in a Vitamix or blender. You could mash the ingredients, but you wouldn't get the same smooth finish.
  2. Check the seasoning and top with a dash of worcestershire sauce.
  3. Serve on oatcakes, in ciabatta, in panini, on a tortilla wrap or with crudités. Oh and it would be good on toast too.
  4. The pate will sit happily in the fridge for a few days.
