Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup brown sugar 
  • cups cranberries fresh
  • 0.3 cup crystallized ginger chopped
  • 0.3 cup apricots dried finely chopped
  •  apples i use 2 granny smith apples cored peeled chopped
  • 0.3 cup juice of lemon fresh
  • teaspoon lemon zest grated
  • 0.5 cup raisins 
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper flakes red
  • cup water

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine apricots, brown sugar, raisins and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and stir while simmering for 5 minutes. Stir in cranberries, apple and lemon zest; simmer for 10 minutes more.
  2. Stir lemon juice, ginger and pepper flakes into the mixture before removing from heat.
  3. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
