  • cubes chicken bouillon 
  • teaspoon garlic powder 
  • large bell pepper green chopped
  • 10 servings salt and ground pepper black to taste
  • cups rice long grain uncooked
  • tablespoons butter 
  • large onion chopped
  •  habanero peppers chopped
  •  bell pepper red chopped
  • tablespoon lawry's seasoned salt 
  • pounds sirloin tips thinly sliced
  •  chicken breasts boneless skinless cut into bite-size pieces
  • tablespoons vegetable oil divided
  • cups water

Directions

  1. Heat the margarine in a large heavy skillet.
  2. Saute the onion, green pepper, red pepper and habanero peppers until onion is soft and translucent.
  3. Remove from skillet and set aside. Rub the beef and chicken with seasoned salt.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in the skillet, and fry the meat until browned.
  5. Remove from heat and set aside.
  6. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large heavy skillet. Fry the uncooked rice, stirring occasionally until lightly browned. Stir in water and bouillon. Stir in peppers and meat. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cover, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, or until rice is tender.
