  • 0.3 teaspoon chili powder 
  • tablespoons chives fresh chopped
  • small garlic clove minced
  • 2.5 teaspoons horseradish white prepared drained
  • teaspoons catsup 
  • teaspoon lemon zest grated
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise 
  • teaspoons blackstrap molasses light
  • teaspoon paprika 
  • 1.5 tablespoons parsley italian chopped
  • 36 inch squares cut from pumpernickel bread westphalian-style
  • teaspoons shallots minced
  • ounces shrimp cooked peeled
  • teaspoons grain dijon mustard whole
  • teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Using fork, mix all ingredients in small bowl to blend.
  2. Mix first 12 ingredients in medium bowl.
  3. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  4. Spread molasses butter lightly over bread; arrange in single layer on baking sheet.
  5. Bake until bread begins to firm up, about 10 minutes. Cool.
  6. Mix shrimp into remoulade sauce. Top toasts with shrimp mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with chives.
  8. Place toasts on platter.
