  •  garlic cloves minced
  •  bell peppers green seeded cut in thin strips
  • teaspoons penzey's southwest seasoning italian
  • tablespoons olive oil divided
  • medium onions sliced
  •  bell peppers red seeded cut in thin strips
  • ounce rice yellow cooked
  • 16 ounce chunky salsa 
  • 14 ounce turkey sausage smoked hillshire farm®

Directions

  1. Cut sausage into 1/2" slices.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Cook sausage 1-2 minutes per side or until lightly browned.
  3. Remove from pan and keep warm.
  4. Add remaining oil to pan with peppers, onions and garlic; cook stirring frequently until vegetables are tender about 7-10 minutes.
  5. Stir in cooked sausage, salsa and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  6. Serve over prepared yellow rice.
