- 0.3 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
- 2.5 cups carrots ()
- 2 cups peas green english shelled ( 2 pounds unshelled peas)
- 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
- 0.5 cup shallots sliced
- 0.5 cup spring onion trimmed peeled sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter unsalted divided
- 0.5 cup water

- Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add carrot, sliced onion, shallots, sea salt, and ground black pepper, stirring to combine. Cover and cook 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
