Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup butter divided
  • cup chicken broth 
  • cups meat from a rotisserie chicken cooked chopped
  • servings rice hot cooked
  • 0.3 cup flour all-purpose
  • tablespoon dillweed fresh chopped
  • ounce mushrooms fresh sliced
  •  garlic clove minced
  • teaspoon catsup 
  • 0.5 cup milk 
  • 0.5 small onion diced
  • 0.5 pound polish sausage smoked cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • pounds shrimp fresh unpeeled
  • ounce cup heavy whipping cream sour
  • 0.5 cup white wine 
  • 0.5 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Peel shrimp, and devein, if desired.
  2. Melt 1/4 cup butter in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp; cook 3 to 5 minutes or just until shrimp turn pink.
  4. Remove shrimp, and set aside.
  5. Add chicken and sausage to pan; cook 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  6. Remove from pan; keep warm.
  7. Melt remaining 1/4 cup butter in Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  8. Add mushrooms; saute 5 minutes.
  9. Add onion and garlic; saute 5 minutes or until tender.
  10. Whisk in flour; cook, whisking constantly, 1 minute.
  11. Add broth, milk, and wine; cook, whisking constantly, 5 minutes or until thickened. Stir in ketchup Worcestershire sauce, and shrimp.
  12. Remove from heat, and stir in sour cream and dillweed. Stir in chicken mixture; serve over rice.
