  • 15 oz tomato sauce divided canned
  • large pasilla peppers green
  • cup rice white instant uncooked
  • Tbsp seasons garlic & herb dressing mix good ()
  • lb ground beef lean
  • large onion chopped
  • 1.3 cups water divided

Directions

  1. Brown meat with onions in large skillet on medium heat. Stir in 1 cup tomato sauce, 1 cup water and dressing mix. Bring to boil. Stir in rice; cover.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Let stand 5 min.
  4. Heat oven to 400F.
  5. Cut tops off peppers; remove and discard membranes and seeds.
  6. Mix remaining tomato sauce and water in 9-inch square baking dish.
  7. Add peppers; fill with meat mixture. Cover.
  8. Bake 35 to 40 min. or until peppers are tender. Spoon sauce from bottom of dish over peppers.
  9. Cut peppers in half to serve.
