Ingredients

  • 10 servings round buttery crackers assorted
  • oz cream cheese softened
  • tablespoons chives fresh chopped
  •  garlic bulb 
  • 11 oz goat cheese 
  • teaspoon olive oil 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper freshly ground
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup sun-dried tomatoes drained chopped in oil

Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • oven
  • hand mixer
  • aluminum foil

Directions

  1. Cut off pointed end of garlic; place garlic on a piece of aluminum foil, and drizzle with oil. Fold foil to seal.
  2. Place on baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 425 for 45 minutes or until cloves are tender.
  4. Let cool slightly. Squeeze pulp from garlic cloves; mash.
  5. Beat garlic, goat cheese, and next 5 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
  6. Serve with assorted crackers, breads, and vegetables.
