  • 0.8 cup sun-dried olives drained chopped
  • medium onion halved lengthwise thinly sliced

  • tablespoon red-wine vinegar 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup sugar 
  • tablespoons butter unsalted
