Ingredients

  • large bell pepper cut in strips
  • 0.3 cup brown sugar 
  • teaspoons canola oil 
  • 0.3 cup cider vinegar 
  • tablespoons cornstarch 
  • cloves garlic minced
  • large onion chopped
  • 20 ounce pineapple chunks with juice canned
  • cup pineapple juice 
  • pound seitan chicken style
  • 2.5 tablespoons soya sauce

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken style seitan, and cook until browned, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Cook and stir until tender, but still crisp.
  4. Stir in the pineapple juice, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and cornstarch. Reduce heat to low; cook and stir until thickened.
  5. Mix in the pineapple chunks just before serving.
