  • cups rice white hot cooked
  • teaspoon cornstarch 
  • teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • teaspoon garlic fresh minced
  • 2.5 cups cut green beans (1-inch)
  • 0.5 pound ground pork lean
  • tablespoons hoisin sauce 
  • teaspoons soya sauce low-sodium
  • teaspoon vegetable oil; peanut oil preferred 
  • 0.1 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon sugar 
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper white freshly ground

Directions

  1. Combine the first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add pork mixture, beans, and garlic; cook 3 minutes or until pork loses its pink color, stirring to crumble.
  4. Combine hoisin and next 3 ingredients (through soy sauce) in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk.
