Ingredients

  • tablespoon canola oil 
  • tablespoon ginger fresh grated peeled
  •  garlic cloves minced
  • teaspoon ground cumin 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground pepper red
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground turmeric 
  • tablespoons onion grated
  • 1.5 cups greek yogurt plain 2% reduced-fat
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 24 ounce chicken breast halves boneless skinless

Directions

  1. Combine first 8 ingredients in a heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag.
  2. Add chicken to bag; seal. Marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, turning occasionally.
  3. Place a small roasting pan in oven. Preheat broiler to high.
  4. Remove chicken from bag; discard marinade.
  5. Sprinkle both sides of chicken evenly with salt.
  6. Place chicken on preheated pan coated with cooking spray. Broil in lower third of oven for 15 minutes or until done, turning after 7 minutes.
