  • 15 ounce pinto beans rinsed drained canned
  • 14.5 ounce canned tomatoes diced undrained canned
  • 29 ounce chicken broth canned
  • tablespoon chili powder 
  • 0.3 cup cornmeal 
  •  eggs 
  • 0.5 cup flour all-purpose
  • tablespoon cilantro leaves fresh minced
  • 16 ounce vegetables mixed frozen
  •  garlic cloves minced
  • tablespoons milk 
  • medium onion chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • tablespoon sugar 
  • teaspoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Stir the flour and 1/4 cup of the milk together in a saucepan until no lumps remain. Stir in the remaining milk and sour cream. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Add the green beans, and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in the vinegar, and season to taste with salt before serving.
