  • cloves garlic chopped
  • tablespoon sugar 
  • 0.3 teaspoon onion powder 
  • 0.5 teaspoons ground cumin 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground pepper red (cayenne)
  • serving salt to taste
  • 0.3 cup tequila 
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • tablespoons juice of lime fresh (1 medium)
  • teaspoon soya sauce 
  • lb chicken breast uncooked (not breaded; 8 tenders)
  • tablespoons honey 
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • serving pepper black freshly ground to taste
  • serving cilantro leaves fresh chopped

Directions

  1. In large bowl, mix all chicken ingredients except chicken tenders.
  2. Add chicken; toss gently to mix. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate 1 to 2 hours to marinate.
  3. Heat gas or charcoal grill.
  4. When grill is heated, remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
  5. Place chicken on grill over medium-high heat. Cover grill; cook about 3 minutes on each side or until browned and no longer pink in center.
  6. Before serving, drizzle chicken with 2 tablespoons honey and 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  7. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and additional chopped cilantro.
