Ingredients

  • cup barbeque sauce 
  • 2.5 pounds pork loin roast boneless trimmed
  • ounce tomato sauce canned
  • 0.3 cup chili powder 
  • 0.5 cup cilantro leaves fresh chopped
  • ounce chile peppers diced green canned
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • teaspoon ground cumin 
  •  onion chopped
  • teaspoon oregano dried

Directions

  1. In a 3 quart or larger slow cooker, mix tomato sauce, barbeque sauce, onion, green chile peppers, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and cinnamon.
  2. Place pork in slow cooker, and spoon sauce over to coat. the meat.
  3. Cover, and cook on Low 8 to 10 hours, or until pork is tender.
  4. Remove pork to a cutting board. Using 2 forks, pull meat into shreds.
  5. Pour sauce into a serving dish; stir in cilantro and shredded pork.
