Ingredients

  • lb beef top sirloin steaks boneless thick
  • oz mushrooms fresh sliced
  • tablespoons parsley fresh chopped
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  • tablespoons spring onion thinly sliced
  • tablespoon juice of lemon 
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper 
  • large plum tomatoes chopped (Roma)
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • tablespoons red wine vinegar 
  • cups the salad 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup vegetable oil 
  • large bell pepper red yellow

Directions

  1. Heat gas or charcoal grill. In tightly covered container, shake all dressing ingredients. Reserve 1/4 cup dressing. In small bowl, mix onions and tomatoes with remaining dressing; set aside.
  2. Place beef steak and bell pepper on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat 15 to 20 minutes, turning bell pepper frequently and beef once, until beef is desired doneness.
  3. Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper.
  4. Cut beef into 1/4-inch slices. Toss beef and reserved 1/4 cup dressing.
  5. Cut bell pepper into strips.
  6. In large bowl, place salad greens, mushrooms, bell pepper and beef.
  7. Add tomato mixture; toss.
