Ingredients

  • 2.5 pounds turkey legs skinless
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.7 cup plum sauce 
  • 0.3 cup spring onion sliced
  • tablespoon soya sauce 
  • tablespoon cornstarch 
  • tablespoon water cold
  • cups rice hot cooked for serving

Directions

  1. Sprinkle turkey with salt and pepper.
  2. Place turkey in 5- to 6-quart slow cooker.
  3. Mix plum sauce, onions and soy sauce; pour over turkey.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours or until juice of turkey is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.
  5. Remove turkey from cooker. Cover with aluminum foil to keep warm.
  6. Remove any fat from sauce.
  7. Mix cornstarch and water; stir into sauce.
  8. Cover and cook on high heat setting 15 to 20 minutes or until sauce has thickened.
  9. Cut turkey from drumsticks.
  10. Serve with sauce and rice.
