  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • teaspoon dijon mustard 
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • tablespoons red wine vinegar 
  • tablespoons shallots chopped
  • 0.1 teaspoon sugar 
  • slices center-cut bacon

Directions

  1. Heat a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add bacon to pan; cook until crisp.
  3. Remove bacon, reserving 1 1/2 tablespoons drippings in pan. Crumble bacon.
  4. Add crumbled bacon and shallots to pan; cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.
  5. Remove from heat, and stir in vinegar and next 3 ingredients (through sugar). Gradually add olive oil to the vinegar mixture, stirring constantly with a whisk.
