  • 0.8 teaspoon pepper black
  • 60 oz beans white rinsed canned
  • tablespoon cornmeal fine
  •  garlic clove finely chopped
  • oz to 2 chilies slit green rinsed canned
  • tablespoon ground cumin 
  • pounds pd of ground turkey 
  • cups chicken broth low-sodium
  • 0.5 cup milk 2%
  • teaspoon oregano dried
  • tablespoons vegetable oil 
  • large onion white chopped

Directions

  1. Heat a 5 1/2- to 6-quart pot over medium high.
  2. Add turkey and pepper; cook until brown.
  3. Transfer to a bowl.
  4. Heat oil in pot over medium.
  5. Add onion and garlic; cook until soft (10 minutes). Stir in chilies, cumin, and oregano; cook 1 minute.
  6. Add turkey, beans, and broth; cook, covered (1 hour).
  7. Whisk cornmeal into milk.
  8. Add to chili.
  9. Serve.
