  • cup coconut shredded sweetened
  • 0.8 cup pecans chopped
  • cup butter softened
  • 1.5 cups brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup sugar 
  • large eggs room temperature
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract 
  • cups flour all-purpose
  • teaspoon baking soda 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • cups rolled oats 
  • cups chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Place coconut and pecans on a 15x10x1-in. baking pan.
  3. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until toasted, stirring every 2 minutes. Set aside to cool.
