  • cup firmly brown sugar packed
  • 0.8 cup butter melted
  • 0.8 cup plus light
  • 4.5 cups regular oats 
  • 0.7 cup pecans chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • cups semisweet chocolate morsels 
  • tablespoon vanilla 
  • tablespoons vegetable shortening

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 42
  2. Line a 15- x 10-inch pan with foil; grease.
