  • 16 ounce pineapple with juice crushed canned
  • 0.5 pound golden currants 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 1.7 cups marshmallows miniature
  • large yams

Directions

  1. Cook yams in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 20 to 30 minutes. Dice the yams and place into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  3. Stir pineapple, currants and cinnamon into the casserole dish.
  4. Sprinkle marshmallows over the casserole.
  5. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven for 35 minutes.
