  • 14 ounce canned tomatoes canned
  •  carrots sliced
  • rib celery stalks sliced
  • teaspoons chicken stock cube 
  • teaspoon chili powder 
  •  cilantro leaves fresh coarsely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin 
  • 0.3 cup olive oil extra virgin 
  • 0.5 cup flour 
  •  garlic clove chopped fine
  •  jalapeno fresh with or without seeds) chopped
  • tablespoons juice of lime 
  • servings muenster cheese shredded
  • large onion diced
  • teaspoon salt 
  • lb chicken breast boneless skinless chopped finely
  • tbsp cream sour
  • servings tortilla chips crushed

Directions

  1. Heat Butter and oil in a large pot until butter is melted.Saut onion, jalapeo, garlic, carrots, celery and chicken; simmer 5 minutes.
  2. Add cumin, salt, chili powder, lemon pepper and flour. Stir to blend.
  3. Add tomatoes and chicken broth.
  4. Mix well. Simmer for 1 hour.
  5. Add cilantro and lime juice.Put in individual serving bowls in order of preference: tortilla chips, sour cream, cheese, and soup.
