  • 0.3 cup planters almonds sliced
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • oz philadelphia cream cheese softened
  •  eggs 
  • cup flour 
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon 
  • 1.3 lb pears fresh peeled sliced
  • cup sugar divided
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425F.
  2. Beat butter and 1/3 cup sugar in small bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
  3. Add flour; mix well. Press onto bottom and 1 inch up side of 9-inch springform pan.
  4. Beat cream cheese and 1/3 cup of the remaining sugar in same bowl with mixer until blended.
  5. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  6. Spread onto bottom of crust.
  7. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon until blended.
  8. Add to pears in large bowl; toss to coat. Arrange over cream cheese layer; top with nuts.
  9. Bake 10 min.
  10. Reduce temperature to 375F; bake torte 25 min. or until center is set. Cool completely. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen torte.
  11. Remove rim. Refrigerate torte 3 hours.
