Ingredients

  • 12 oz apples frozen thawed
  • 12 oz mrs richardson's butterscotch caramel sauce warmed
  •  egg whites lightly beaten
  • 0.5 cup pecans chopped
  • 15 oz pie crust dough refrigerated
  • servings sugar 

Equipment

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 35
  2. Bake pecans in a single layer in a shallow pan 5 to 6 minutes or until toasted and fragrant.
  3. Remove from oven; increase oven temperature to 42
  4. Unroll piecrust on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Cut piecrust into fourths. Divide apples among each fourth, placing in center. Pull corners together over apples, pinching edges to seal.
  6. Place on a lightly greased aluminum foil-lined baking sheet; brush with egg white, and sprinkle with sugar.
  7. Bake at 425 for 20 to 22 minutes or until golden.
  8. Serve apple bundles with caramel topping.
  9. Sprinkle with pecans.
