Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup barbecue sauce 
  • 0.3 cup breadcrumbs plain progresso®
  •  eggs slightly beaten
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt 
  • 0.3 cup spring onion sliced
  • tablespoons hoisin sauce 
  • lb ground beef 80% lean (at least )
  • 0.3 cup milk 
  • 0.3 cup plum sauce 
  • tablespoon soya sauce 
  • 0.5 cup water chestnuts finely chopped

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray. In large bowl, mix meatball ingredients. Shape into about 36 (1-inch) meatballs.
  2. Place in pan.
  3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until meatballs are thoroughly cooked and no longer pink in center.
  4. Spray 3- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
  5. Transfer meatballs to slow cooker. In small bowl, mix sauce ingredients.
  6. Add sauce to meatballs; stir gently to mix.
  7. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 2 to 4 hours.
