Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup butter cold cut into small pieces
  • tsp calumet baking powder 
  •  eggs divided
  • cups flour 
  • Tbsp chives fresh chopped
  • 0.5 cup half-and-half 
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded kraft
  • slices oscar mayer center cut bacon crumbled cooked
  • Tbsp water

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425F.
  2. Combine flour and baking powder in large bowl.
  3. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Whisk 2 eggs and half-and-half in medium bowl until blended.
  5. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. Stir in cheese, bacon and chives. Shape into ball.
  6. Knead dough on lightly floured surface 10 times.
  7. Roll out to 12x6-inch rectangle.
  8. Cut into 8 (3-inch) squares; cut each square diagonally in half.
  9. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
  10. Whisk remaining egg and water until blended; brush over dough triangles.
  11. Bake 14 to 16 min. or until scones are lightly browned.
  12. Serve warm.
