Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup basil leaves whole for garnish
  • serving cucumber spears for garnish
  • ounce hendrick's gin 
  • cup ice cubes plus more for each glass
  • 0.5 cup lillet blanc 
  • ounce orange juice freshly squeezed
  • ounce tonic water

    Directions

    1. Pre-mix the appropriate amount for the number of cocktails you are making of Lillet, gin, orange juice, and whole basil leaves in to a pitcher.
    2. Let the mixture sit at least 30 minutes to infuse. When ready to serve make each Kamikaze individually by adding 1 cup ice cubes to a shaker and 3 or 4 ounces of the infused Lillet mixture per cocktail. Cover and shake well.Strain the Kamikaze into a ice filled glass and top with a splash of tonic water.
    3. Garnish with a cucumber spear and serve.
