  • ounces cheese blue crumbled
  • 0.5 cup butter 
  •  bacon crumbled cooked
  • large eggs 
  • 1.5 cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.5 cup green onions finely chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground pepper black
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground pepper red
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 1.5 cups water

Directions

  1. Combine 1 1/2 cups water and butter in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil.
  2. Add flour, salt, and peppers; cook, beating with a wooden spoon until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms a smooth ball.
  3. Remove from heat; cool 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in cheese, bacon, and green onions.
  5. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased baking sheets.
  6. Bake at 400 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature.
