Ingredients

  • 16 ounce rounds brie 
  • large eggs lightly beaten
  • cup flour all-purpose
  • tablespoons parsley fresh chopped
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups italian-seasoned breadcrumbs 
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 32 servings vegetable oil 
  • 32 servings spicy cranberry dipping sauce 

Equipment

Directions

  1. Trim rind from Brie.
  2. Combine Brie and next 3 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well with hands until combined. Shape cheese mixture into 1" balls. Dip balls in egg; dredge in flour. Dip again in egg; roll in breadcrumbs, pressing firmly so crumbs adhere.
  3. Place brie balls on wax paper; chill at least 1 hour.
  4. Pour oil to a depth of 2" in a Dutch oven; heat to 35
  5. Fry cheese balls, in batches, until golden, about 1 minute; drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve immediately with Spicy Cranberry Dipping Sauce.
