Ingredients

  • 1.3 cups breadcrumbs divided soft ( 2 slices)
  • cups broccoli frozen thawed chopped
  • 0.3 cup butter divided melted
  • 14 ounces corn cream-style canned
  • 1.5 cups oatmeal cornflakes divided crushed
  •  eggs 
  • tablespoons onion chopped
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper 
  • teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup of cornflake crumbs and 1/3 cup bread crumbs.
  2. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons butter and toss to coat; set aside. In a large bowl, combine the corn, broccoli, eggs, onion, salt, pepper and the remaining cornflakes, bread crumbs and butter.
  3. Transfer to a greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
  5. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes or until a thermometer reads 160°.
