  • 0.3 cup butter melted
  • 0.3 cup celery leaves chopped
  • servings additional celery leaves 
  • 0.3 cup flour all-purpose
  • sprigs parsley fresh
  • 4.5 cups milk 
  • slices onion thin
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • teaspoons salt

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients, except additional celery leaves, in container of an electric blender; process until smooth.
  2. Pour mixture into top of a double boiler; cook over simmering water until thickened.
  3. Serve hot; garnish with additional celery leaves.
