  • 0.7 cup granulated sugar 
  • 0.5 cup milk 
  • cups apples peeled sliced
  • tablespoon juice of lemon 
  • 0.8 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • cup water boiling
  • serving garnish: whipped cream sweetened
  • 1.5 cups frangelico

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix Bisquick and granulated sugar in medium bowl. Stir in milk until blended.
  3. Pour into ungreased square pan, 9x9x2 inches. Top with apples; sprinkle with lemon juice.
  4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
  5. Pour boiling water over apples.
  6. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Serve warm with whipped cream.
