  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • ounce saga cheese blue crumbled
  • cup egg substitute 
  • 1.5 cups milk fat-free
  • cups bread french cubed () ( 14 ounces)
  • tablespoon sage fresh chopped
  • teaspoon olive oil 
  • 1.3 pounds onion thinly sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 35
  2. Combine milk and cheese in a blender or food processor; process until smooth.
  3. Pour into a large bowl. Stir in egg substitute and next 3 ingredients.
  4. Add bread cubes; toss gently to coat.
  5. Let stand 30 minutes.
  6. . While bread mixture stands, heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  7. Add onion; saut 25 minutes or until soft and lightly browned. Stir into bread mixture.
  8. . Spoon bread mixture into an 11 x 7-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  9. Bake at 350 for 42 minutes or until set.
  10. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
