- 6 cups pieces bartlett pears ripe peeled (1-inch) ()

- 0.5 cup cranberries dried
- 0.3 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons butter chilled cut into small pieces
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 0.3 cup flour whole-wheat

- Combine first 4 ingredients; cut in margarine with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. Set aside.
