Ingredients
- 1.5 tsp calumet baking powder
- 1 eggs beaten
- 2 cups flour
- 0.3 cup butter cold
- 1 cup milk
- 0.3 tsp salt
- 8 oz cracker barrel sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 Tbsp sugar

Directions
- Heat oven to 400F.
- Mix dry ingredients in medium bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese.
- Add combined egg and milk; stir just until moistened.
- Spoon into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Bake 45 min or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 min.
- Remove from pan to wire rack; cool completely.
