Ingredients

  • 10 oz broccoli florets frozen thawed drained
  • 0.5 teaspoon thyme dried
  • tablespoons flour all-purpose
  • 16 oz fries frozen french thawed
  • pound pd of ground turkey lean
  • 1.8 cups milk 2%
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground mustard 
  •  onion chopped
  • servings salt and pepper 
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • tablespoons butter unsalted
  • teaspoons worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Melt 1 Tbsp. butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion; saut until softened, 5 minutes.
  3. Add turkey, Worcestershire and thyme, and saut until turkey is cooked through, 10 minutes.
  4. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 Tbsp. butter. Stir in flour.
  5. Add milk and cook, stirring, until sauce bubbles and thickens, 8 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Add mustard and 1/2 cup cheese; stir until melted.
  8. Add turkey mixture and broccoli. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Mist a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray, spread mixture in dish and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese. Top evenly with fries.
  10. Bake until cheese is bubbling and fries are crisp and golden, 25 to 30 minutes.
