  •  bay leaves 
  • cups ziti hot tube-shaped cooked uncooked ()
  • teaspoon thyme dried
  • 0.8 cup wine dry white
  • 0.8 cup fat-skimmed beef broth fat-free
  • tablespoons flour all-purpose
  •  garlic clove minced
  • 0.7 cup milk 1% low-fat
  • cups mushrooms sliced
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • cup onion chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • pounds chicken thighs boneless skinless

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken; saut 5 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove from pan.
  4. Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic to pan; saut 5 minutes. Return chicken to pan.
  5. Add wine, broth, thyme, salt, and bay leaves; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes. Discard bay leaves.
  6. Combine milk and flour, stirring with a whisk. Stir milk mixture into pan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 3 minutes or until thick, stirring often. Stir in pasta.
