  • cups onion chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.8 pound chicken breast boneless skinless cut into bite-size pieces
  • ounces ziti tube-shaped uncooked (short pasta)

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken; cook 3 minutes or until lightly browned.
  4. Add onion and garlic; cook 2 minutes.
  5. Add bell pepper and mushrooms; cook 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients; cook 6 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  6. Serve over pasta.
