  • ounce pepper flakes diced green canned
  • 1.5 teaspoons kosher salt 
  • 9-inch deep dish pie crust frozen thaw (do not )
  • large eggs 
  • 0.8 cup cup heavy whipping cream 
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • 0.8 teaspoon hot sauce hot
  • small onion diced red
  • ounce sharp cheddar cheese shredded

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Heat oil in mediumskillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add onion.Cover and cook until just tender, stirringoften, about 5 minutes. Cool briefly.
  4. Whisk cream and next 4 ingredients inbowl to blend.
  5. Mix in cheese, chiles, andonion mixture.
  6. Pour filling into frozen crust.
  7. Bake tart until golden brown and set incenter, about 40 minutes.
