  • tablespoon double-acting baking powder 
  • 4.5 ounce chilis green drained chopped canned
  • 0.5 cup egg substitute 
  • cup flour all-purpose
  • ounces cheddar cheese shredded reduced-fat
  • 0.3 cup skim milk powder dry
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoons vegetable oil 
  • cup water 
  • cup cornmeal yellow

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 37
  2. Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl; make a well in center of mixture.
  3. Combine water, egg substitute, and oil; add to flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in cheese and green chiles.
  4. Pour batter into an 8-inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  5. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until golden.
  6. Cut into squares, and serve warm.
