Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda 
  • tablespoons canola oil 
  • large eggs 
  • 0.3 cup granulated sugar 
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt 
  • 0.3 cup brown sugar light
  • cup pecans 
  • cup semi chocolate chips 
  • tablespoons butter unsalted softened
  • teaspoon vanilla extract pure
  • 1.5 cups pastry flour whole wheat

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 and line the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the pecans in a pie plate and toast for about 8 minutes, until golden. Chop the pecans and let cool.
