  • 12 ounces bread french cubed (1-inch) ( 10 cups)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • Dash nutmeg 
  • 2.5 cups milk 2% reduced-fat
  • ounces bittersweet chocolate finely chopped ()
  • 0.7 cup sugar 
  • tablespoons sugar 
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 35
  2. Combine 5 1/2 ounces sugar and eggs in a large bowl, stirring with a whisk.

  5. Add bread, tossing to coat; let mixture stand for 30 minutes, tossing occasionally.
