  • teaspoon baking soda 
  • cup butter softened
  • cup buttermilk 
  • 2.5 cups cake flour 
  •  eggs 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • cups sugar 
  • ounces baker's chocolate unsweetened melted
  • teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • cup walnut pieces chopped
