  • cups chocolate wafer crumbs ( 60 wafers)
  • 0.3 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 0.5 cup butter cubed
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • cup semi chocolate chips 
  • 0.5 cup pecans finely chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Toss wafer crumbs with brown sugar and butter; press into an ungreased 13x9-in. pan.
  2. Bake until lightly browned, 8-10 minutes.
  3. For topping, place butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir 1 minute.
  4. Pour evenly over crust.
  5. Bake 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven; let stand 2 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with chocolate chips; let stand until chips have softened.
  8. Spread evenly over top; sprinkle with pecans. Cool completely before cutting.
