Ingredients

  • cup butter softened
  • tsp calumet baking powder 
  • 0.5 cup baker's angel flake coconut 
  • 1.5 cups flour 
  • cup brown sugar light packed
  • 0.5 cup planters pecans toasted chopped
  • 1.5 cups quick-cooking oats 
  • 12 oz raspberry jam 
  • oz baker's semi-sweet chocolate coarsely chopped

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in large bowl until blended.
  3. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add oats, coconut and nuts; mix well.
  5. Press half the crumb mixture onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with chocolate. Top with jam and remaining crumb mixture.
  6. Bake 25 to 30 min. or until lightly browned. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
